As a person who has had major stress and diagnosed with PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder)I started this blog to share and help others understand the stress they are going through and start to heal. It has been mentioned in this blog before that I have experience and it is not meant to brag. It is to reassure others that from my own high stress and trauma I have managed to get to a point of healing. There are many articles, blogs web sites on stress, stress management, healing and a few on trauma now. This site is not a new place to discuss trauma, stress or healing so if this is not working for you please seek help somewhere else till you find what is right for you. Healing instead of denying the stress is more important the visitors to this blog. When diagnosed with trauma last year I was already overwhelmed and looking through all the sites made me feel worse. I could not focus or even understand what I was reading most of the time. I compare my brains ability to a balloon already filled with say helium. Once you open the balloon up all the helium has to come out before you can put anything else in. My brain was the same. I found writing, talking, and breathing plus exercise helped me start to release. SO if you just need to decrease some stress to start healing by writing then by all means do so.
