Sometimes people who have stress need to stop and identify where the stress is coming from and why they feel stress over that issue. Sometimes the issues we identify as stressful such as work stress are things we allow. Sometimes the thing we believe to be stressing us out is not really the problem. We tend to blame others when we feel stressed. If work would only do this or stop this I would not be so stressed. Maybe there are so many things gong on it is the total picture and not each individual thing causing the stress. Whether the stress is something we caused, allowed or need to just deal with how you handle stress it is important. You have to take as some call it a personal inventory. MAKE AND TAKE THE TIME. Stress can be relieved by acknowledging there is a problem sometimes. Stress needs to be addressed. Once you identify with the reasons you can see if there is something you can do about it. Maybe change a job, start a hobby, meditate, take Tai Chi, tell the person who is bothering you, get support. There are many options to heal stress even for each reason you come up with if you are honest with yourself. Having a new baby can feel stressful even when you love it and the stress of raising a child will vary with their age and your perception etc. Or a loved one is sick and you have no control are examples of things you have to deal with. Having someone abuse you causes stress and trauma and you do not have to or should put up with it. Seek help this level of stress you should not handle alone. as you look at your life and see the areas that you have stress you can better understand and find away to heal.
